Avius release notes.

New features and capabilities in each public Avius release, written for the people using them. Update from your WordPress dashboard while your license is active to get the latest.

Version 1.8.3Latest

Avius is available.

The first public release of Avius connects your AI agent to WordPress through a direct MCP connection. Install the plugin, connect the client you already use, and start working on your site from the conversation. Here is what this release brings.

Connect the agent you already use

  • Connect Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, and other MCP clients to your WordPress site through a direct connection.
  • Sign in with OAuth from your WordPress login, or connect with a WordPress Application Password – the setup asks for your client first and shows only the routes that work in your environment.
  • See every connected client in one place and revoke access the moment a task is finished.

Work across your WordPress site

  • Ask your agent to inspect the active theme, plugins, page builder, and settings before it changes anything.
  • Edit pages, posts, and structured content, with dedicated support for builders such as Elementor and for products through WooCommerce.
  • Read and update custom fields, SEO metadata, and more across the plugins you already run – from ACF and Rank Math to Yoast and LiteSpeed Cache.
  • Handle the work below the editor with file operations, PHP, and WP-CLI on your development and staging sites.
  • Follow the work as it happens in an activity view that records which tools ran and how each one finished.

Avius Pro

  • Save project decisions and conventions as site memory, so a later session can recall them instead of asking you to repeat the same context.
  • Give your agent focused, ecosystem-specific abilities and playbooks for the builders, fields, and plugins your site is built on.

Licensing and updates

  • Activate Pro or Agency inside WordPress to unlock the paid features on the websites your plan covers – one website with Pro, up to 100 with Agency, each a one-time purchase.
  • Get new versions in one click from your WordPress dashboard while your license is active, or re-download the latest package any time from the download page.
