Privacy policy.

This policy applies to the Avius website at getavius.com and the supporting services that run it: hosting, checkout, license validation, and email support. Avius is a WordPress plugin operated by the person or entity that publishes this website ("Avius", "we").

It does not govern what happens inside a live Avius session on your own WordPress site. Once you connect an AI client, that client, your model provider, and your WordPress host each process information under their own agreements. Those flows are described in "Plugin sessions and your AI provider" below and in the security guide.

The website loads no advertising trackers, no analytics scripts, and no third-party embeds. Fonts and icons are served from this site rather than an external font or tag service, so ordinary browsing does not build a profile of you across other sites.

The website is delivered through Cloudflare, which automatically logs standard request data – your IP address, browser user-agent, the URL requested, referrer, and timestamps – to route traffic, block abuse, and protect the service. This is a normal part of serving any website and is used for delivery and security, not marketing.

• We do not sell personal information or share it with data brokers.

Payments are processed by Polar (Polar Software Inc.), which acts as the merchant of record for Avius purchases. When you follow a checkout link you leave getavius.com and transact on Polar’s hosted checkout. Polar collects the billing details, email address, payment method, and tax information needed to complete the sale, and handles that data under its own privacy policy.

Avius does not receive or store your full card number or payment credentials. From a completed order we receive the order reference, the purchasing email address, plan type, and the license key issued for the sale, which we use to confirm entitlement and provide support.

When you download or update the plugin with your license key, the request goes to the Avius update service at updates.getavius.com. That service checks the key against Polar’s license records and, if valid, returns the current version manifest or the plugin package. The request carries your license key and the standard connection data described above.

Activation associates a key with the website it runs on so we can apply your plan’s website allowance and deliver updates. Keep your license key private: do not post it in public forums, screenshots, or support messages, and do not send it through unencrypted public forms.

If you email [email protected], we receive your address, message, and anything you choose to include, and we retain that correspondence for as long as needed to answer your request and keep a record of the resolution.

Send only what is necessary to describe the issue. Never include license keys, WordPress Application Passwords, administrator credentials, private site content, or full database exports in a support message.

The examples on this website do not connect to your WordPress site. In a real Avius session, the agent connects directly to your WordPress endpoint; the core connection does not route your site traffic through an Avius-hosted proxy.

Your chosen AI client and model provider will process the content your site returns to answer a request, under their own privacy and retention terms. Choosing Avius does not place us between you and that provider, and it is not a claim that the provider receives no data. Review your provider’s settings and avoid exposing credentials or unnecessary personal information to any connected agent.

We keep the number of third parties small and name the ones that can process information related to this website:

• Cloudflare, Inc. – website hosting, content delivery, and security, including the update and license-validation service.
• Polar Software Inc. – checkout, payment processing, invoicing, tax handling, and license-key issuance as merchant of record.
• Email delivery is used to send and receive support correspondence at [email protected].

Server and security logs are retained by our host for a short operational period and then rotated out. Order and license records are kept for as long as your entitlement is active and as required for tax and accounting obligations, which are handled primarily by our payment provider. Support correspondence is kept while it remains useful for your account and our records.

We do not retain browsing profiles, because none are built. When information is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected, it is removed or anonymised in the ordinary course of each provider’s retention practices.

Our providers operate globally, so your information may be processed on servers located outside your own country, including where the provider or its data centres are based. Cloudflare and Polar each maintain their own safeguards for cross-border processing as part of their privacy programmes.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request about information held by Avius – for example your support history or license record – email [email protected] from the address associated with your purchase so we can verify the request.

For payment and billing information, which is held by our payment provider as merchant of record, use the contact and account options provided by Polar. We will help coordinate a request that spans both parties.

The website is served over HTTPS, collects as little as possible, and never handles card details directly. No safeguard is absolute, so continue to protect your own credentials and license key.

Avius is a developer tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age required to form a binding contract in their jurisdiction.

We may update this policy as the website or its providers change. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date, and any new analytics, embeds, or account features will be reviewed before deployment and described before they take effect.
