By accessing this website or purchasing a license you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website or buy a license. If you are acting for an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms on its behalf.

These terms apply to the website and its product information. Documentation shipped with your installed plugin version describes that version’s requirements and behaviour, and is the authoritative reference for how the software operates.

You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to purchase a license. Avius is a developer tool intended for people building and maintaining WordPress sites, and is not directed to children.

Avius is a WordPress plugin, and a connected MCP server, that lets an AI agent inspect and change a WordPress site. It is an independent product. WordPress is a trademark of the WordPress Foundation; Avius is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by the Foundation, and references to WordPress and third-party plugins are for identification only.

Examples and descriptions on this site illustrate possible workflows. Because results depend on your site, your AI client, and the model you use, they are not a promise that a model will produce any particular outcome.

The Avius plugin includes code licensed under AGPL-3.0-or-later. Your rights to use, study, modify, and redistribute the covered software are granted by that license, and the license and attribution files supplied with the plugin must be kept and must accompany any redistribution as the license requires.

What you buy from Avius is commercial access to official downloads, one-click updates, and support – a distribution and service arrangement, not a restriction on the open-source rights above. Nothing in these terms overrides or replaces the AGPL where it applies.

Avius Pro is $29 and covers one website. Avius Agency is $199 and covers up to 100 websites. Both are one-time purchases in US dollars and include the same paid features and updates; there is no recurring subscription for the plugin itself. Prices are exclusive of any applicable taxes, which are calculated and shown at checkout.

Payment is processed by Polar (Polar Software Inc.) as merchant of record. Your purchase is also subject to the terms Polar presents at checkout. A license is issued for the plan you buy and is validated on activation and update; activate it only within the website allowance your plan covers, and keep your key confidential.

Refund requests are reviewed against the terms shown at checkout and applicable consumer law. See the refunds page for how to request one and what to include.

The plugin can execute PHP, run WP-CLI, and read and write files. Operate it on development and staging sites with current, restorable backups, and review the permissions and capabilities of any agent you connect. You decide which site to connect, which abilities to enable, and which changes to keep, and you are responsible for those decisions and their effects.

Do not use Avius to access sites you are not authorised to administer, to violate the rights of others, or to break the law. Do not attempt to defeat license validation, resell access in breach of the AGPL and these terms, or misrepresent your affiliation with Avius.

AI clients, model providers, WordPress hosting, and third-party plugins and themes are provided by others under their own terms and pricing. An Avius purchase does not include model usage or any third-party subscription, and we are not responsible for those services or their availability, output, or charges.

The website and the software are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

AI-generated changes can be wrong or incomplete. Avius does not warrant that the software will be uninterrupted or error-free, that a connection will suit a given client or host, or that any AI output will be accurate or safe to publish. A tool succeeding is a reason to verify the result, not proof that it is correct.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Avius and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or damage to a website, arising from your use of the website, the plugin, or any connected service.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for any claim relating to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the license giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable consumer law.

We may update these terms as the product and website evolve; the current version is marked with a "last updated" date, and continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms. Any purchase remains governed by the checkout terms in force when you bought.
